Cherry is a structural relocation company based in Houston, Texas. Now in our 66th year of operation, we specialize in moving all types of structures. Not only do we move buildings and houses, we move historic structures, locomotives, trees, industrial equipment, boats, etc; any type of heavy hauling.
We recycle old houses. At Cherry we buy and resell houses, saving them from demolition and reducing landfill waste.
In addition, we raise and level houses; including elevation and installation of piers.
At Cherry, we provide a well trained work force. Established in 1952, Cherry is family owned and operated. Our workforce is second to none, with an exemplary safety rating; this assures you, our customer, a professional job.
Keith Cherry
President. Carl Cherry founded Cherry House Moving in 1952. Keith started working for his dad when he was a young boy. With over 50 years experience in house moving, Keith has led Cherry House Moving to be the largest structural relocation company on the Gulf Coast.
Christina A. Huffman
VP of Cherry House Sales. Christina has her MBA from Sam Houston State University, with a concentration in Finance, and a 4.0 GPA. Her Bachelor of Science degree is in Business Management. Christina has been working with Cherry since 1998.
Rosie Garcia
Office Manager. She heads our accounting and safety program.
